Slatwall Edge trim allows you to professionally cover the ends or edge of your StoreWALL Slatwall panels. Frame your wall project with the right trim for the job. The edge trim can cover edges as well as corners, seams or around windows. It is available in 3 basic colours, White, Grey, & Black. In most cases you won’t even need to fasten it as the weight and pressure of the panel is generally enough to hold it in place without additional screws. No need for messy glue, tape that will dry out and fail in our dry Canadian climates. The trim helps finish off the project, especially if the walls are not 100% square, it helps provie a little wriggle room especially for the “Do it Yourself” projects. Therefore, if you feel that you want to secure your edge trim in place, first we recommend using a colour matched screw into the back of the trim. If you desire additional security, then we highly recommend gluing these trims to the panel to cover up seams etc. The glue we recommend is PL-400 from LePage and available at Home Depot, Lowes, Rona, Canadian Tire, & Home Hardware. PL-400 is an interior and exterior heavy-duty premium quality adhesive. Designed for structural projects that require strength and durability. Ideal for installing sub-floors, exterior sheathing, siding and decking. Low voc formulation (<1% by weight). Elastomeric: eliminates squeaky floors. High grab: minimizes nailing requirements.
