Most “Terms” pages are impossible to read. We want ours to be different. Since you are trusting us with your book orders, we want to be clear about the rules that govern our relationship. Think of this as the handshake agreement between you (the customer) and us (Cogent LLC).

By browsing our website or buying a book, you agree to the following terms.

The Basics

Throughout this site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cogent LLC doing business as parrocchiecordenons. The term “you” refers to the user or customer visiting our website. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Who Can Shop Here?

To keep things legal and safe, you must be at least the age of majority in your state (usually 18 years old) to make a purchase. If you are under 18, you may only use parrocchiecordenons with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. The Books We Sell (Accuracy & Expectations)

We put a lot of effort into describing our biographies, cookbooks, and novels accurately. However, we need to be realistic:

• The “Human Error” Factor: We are a small team, not robots. Sometimes a price might be listed incorrectly, or a page count might be off by a few digits. If we make a mistake on pricing, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you rather than shipping it at a loss.

• Cover Art varies: Publishers love to refresh book covers. The cover image you see on your screen might differ from the physical copy in our warehouse (especially for older titles). The story inside is the same, but the wrapper might change.

3. Pricing & Inventory

• Dynamic Pricing: Book prices can change based on publisher costs or market demand. The price you see in your cart at the moment of purchase is the final price. We cannot offer price adjustments if a book goes on sale the next day.

• The “Out of Stock” Scenario: Sometimes, a book sells out faster than our system can update. If you order a book that is actually gone, we will simply refund you. We won’t hold your money hostage.

4. Your Responsibilities (Account Info)

We can’t deliver your books if we don’t know where you are.

• Honest Details: You agree to provide a current, valid email address, shipping address, and payment info. If you move, please update your account.

• No Resellers: We sell to readers, not scalpers. We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders that look like they are from dealers intending to resell our products for a profit.

5. House Rules (The “Don’t Do It” List)

We want a clean, safe website. By using parrocchiecordenons, you promise NOT to:

• Hack or Attack: Do not transmit viruses, worms, or any code that could damage our website or steal data.

• Scrape Data: Do not use automated bots to steal our product descriptions, pricing, or customer reviews.

• Break the Law: Do not use our products or platform for any illegal purpose under the laws of California or the United States.

• Be Abusive: We have zero tolerance for harassment or abusive language directed at our support team.

Consequence: If you break these rules, we have the right to ban your IP address and cancel your orders immediately.

Everything you see on this site—our logo, the design, the layout, and our original blog posts—belongs to Cogent LLC. Please don’t copy-paste our hard work and claim it as your own.

Our site runs on WordPress and may link to outside services (like FedEx for tracking or PayPal for payment). We don’t control those companies. If you click a link that takes you off our site, their policies apply, not ours.
