Custom Wharfedale Pro drivers deliver a pure, unflattered and smooth sound. The 8.0 LF driver is smooth and accurate, giving a warmth and depth that is unusual in a plastic installation speaker. Meanwhile the 1.0 soft dome tweeter gives clear, but not agressive, high end. The silk diaphragm material is ideal for speech and paging purposes. IP54 CERTIFIED The i series are IP54 Certified. With IP54 certification, all i series installation loudspeakers are protected from limited dust ingress and are protected from water spray from any direction. The pictures show some of the tests that take place during this certification process. Full peace of mind – protection against extreme conditions. FULL METAL BRACKET The beauty of I series is that you don’t have to worry about finding specialist mounting hardware. The fully-adjustable mounting brackets are included. These brackets are simple to install and give comprehensive adjustment angles due to the semi-circular ‘ball and socket’ design. I series are easy to mount, easy to adjust and simple to securely lock in place. There is also a threaded insert for attachment of the included seismic restraint tether. AROUND THE BACK Connections and input settings are discretely placed around the back. I series use Phoenix connectors for bare wire connections. The image shown is of the i6T transformer version.
