Subminiature D Type UHV Ribbon Cables – Male to Female Extension Cable£ 359 – £ 1,143 TECHNICAL SPECS – CLICK HERE Subminiature D Type UHV Ribbon Cables – Male to Female Extension Cable UHV Cable Assemblies Male connector to Female connector UHV ribbon extension cables are fitted with PEEK subminiature D male connector one end and female connector the other end of the Kapton® insulated ribbon cable. The female cable connector mates directly onto the vacuum side of subminiature D feedthroughs or with the male in-vacuum cable connectors. The ribbon cable is made with Kapton® insulated 28AWG silver plated copper conductors, stranded 7 x 0.127mm. The cables are woven with a PEEK monofilament with a nominal diameter of 0.2mm. Stated electrical ratings are maximum test values. Feedthroughs are intended for instrumentation applications carrying low level signal voltages and currents. For proper heat dissipation a maximum of 20% of the pins on a feedthrough may carry the maximum current at any one time.
